Arrival at Manas Airport and transfer to hotel in Bishkek. After some refreshments and a little rest, start for trip to Ala Archa National Park. Hiking along the trail to Ala-Archa river This National Park is an alpine park in the Tian Shan mountains of Kyrgyzstan, established: in 1976 and located approximately 40 km south of the capital city of Bishkek. The park includes the gorge of the Ala-Archa River and the mountains surrounding it, is a popular destination point for hikers and covers about 200 square kilometers, and its altitude ranges from about 1,500 meters at the entrance to a maximum of 4,895 meters at Peak Semenova Tian-Shanski. After breakfast driving to the east and after 150 km turn into the Chon Kemin valley. This long valley itself lies at altitudes of between 1400 m and 2800 m above sea level and reaches over 80 km deep into the mountains between the Kingly Ala Too and Zanily ranges, parallel to the Kazakh border. It has verdant pastures, woodland (of Tien Shan firs), several mountain lakes and spectacular views of the mountains. The valley has a rich variety of vegetation, and animal life, and boasts both a Zoological preserve and a botanical reserve. After lunch you can hike in the mountains or rent horses to ride. Drive back to the entrance of the valley, next to the Burana Tower, and museum, not far from the town of Tokmok – an architectural complex of the 10e century which survived from the times of the Great Silk Road. In the middle ages it was a city of Balasagun that was the capital of the Karachanid Khaganate – a Turkish dynasty of that time. You will see and can climb up the 24 meter minaret and mausoleums which were reconstructed. From here you have a spectacular view on the surrounding mountains Also see Balbal, grave stones from the middle ages. From here you have a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains. It is not clear why this town disappeared, a version is that it was destroyed by conquering tribes, another version is that because of a contagious disease it was abandoned. Retrun to Bishkek and in the afternoon time for shopping, visit the Osh bazaar and stroll through the nice green parks and centre of town. Overnight stay at Hotel (B/L/D Included)
